The Catholic Diocese of Richmond has allocated funds from the McMahon Parater Foundation for Education (MPFE) for tuition assistance for the 2009-2010 school year. Holy Cross Catholic School has also allocated a limited amount of funds for financial aid. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial needs analysis for Holy Cross Catholic School for the upcoming 2009-2010 school year. All families seeking financial aid must complete a FACTS application.
Applications for tuition assistance from Holy Cross Catholic School and MPFE must be received by FACTS by May 1, 2009. We recommend mailing by April 15, 2009 to guarantee arrival by May 1st.
There are two ways to apply for school and diocesan financial aid:
- Applicants can apply online at www.factstuitionaid.com OR
- Paper applications are available in the school office of Iris Charter, Bookkeeper
The following information is required in order for FACTS to process your application for financial aid from Holy Cross School and aid from the diocesan McMahon Parater Foundation:
- Completed online or paper application.
- Payment of the $20.00 application fee.
- Copies of your 2007 or 2008 tax return including all schedules.
- Copies of your 2008 W2 for both you and your spouse.
- Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.

Award letters from Holy Cross Catholic School will be mailed to eligible families for Holy Cross financial assistance in late May. Award letters will be mailed to eligible families for diocesan McMahon Parater Foundation funds by June 30, 2009. Only those families who qualify for Holy Cross financial aid will be considered for MPFE funds.
