The beginning of the school year is always such an exciting adventure. The first day, the first time to buy lunch, the first home game, the first fire drill, the first assembly (to learn about band opportunities), the first morning chapel -- all sprinkled with the first spelling test, the first biology quiz, the first writing assignment -- so many wonderful firsts to begin what I know will be a great year. We are approaching these “firsts” with great vigor, and we are setting the tone of high expectations, a nurturing environment and fun! As I walk the hallways, I hear the happy sounds of engaged learners –even if it might be a snore from a pre-K student who relishes nap time! We are set on our trajectory for success and we can sing to the Lord a new song – for He has done marvelous things (Psalm 98).
Sincerely,
